Xenia Preschool Again Receives Five Star Step Up to Quality Rating

Once again, Xenia Preschool has received a Five Star Step Up to Quality rating from the Ohio Department of Education, the highest possible rating available.
Step Up To Quality is a tiered rating system that recognizes and promotes early learning and development programs that meet quality standards over and above the health and safety licensing requirements. Programs are evaluated based on staff qualifications, curriculum and instruction, school administration and management, and even community engagement. Certification is based on an application process, as well as in-person evaluation by trained observers from the Ohio Department of Education.
During this recent evaluation, Xenia Preschool was evaluated on more than 50 standards, and received high marks for critical components such as: implementing a purposeful and developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of all children, having a robust screening process that incorporates two-way dialogue and feedback with our families, and ensuring that teaching staff have critical Early Education qualifications, including those with degrees in special education with a preschool endorsement.
Xenia Preschool has been a Five-Star Step Up to Quality School since 2015.
