Mary Adeline Lewis is a proud 2013 graduate of Xenia High School and Xenia resident. While a student at Xenia High School, Mary Adeline created ‘Chicks for Charity’, an organization that donates 4-H poultry projects to local establishments that provide free meals to people in need in the Xenia Community. Mary Adeline also received a Private Pilot’s License from the Greene County Airport while a student at Xenia High School.
 
Mary Adeline attended Miami University where she received a B.A in Political Science and Environmental Science with a concentration in Sustainable Agriculture. While at Miami University Mary Adeline served on the Miami University Board of Trustees and Academic Success committee. 

After graduating from Miami University, Mary Adeline attended the University of Dayton School of Law where she received her Juris Doctorate. While attending the University of Dayton, Mary Adeline was appointed by the University president to serve on the President's Commission on the Status of Women. The Commission ensured that regular, strategic conversations about gender-related issues occurred with the president and other senior leaders. This commission served as a formal, centralized mechanism for advocacy on women’s and gender-related issues and leveraged expertise from across campus to address these critical issues at the institutional level. 

Mary Adeline is an attorney with the Greene County Public Defender's office where she is a strong advocate for vulnerable members of the community. Mary Adeline lives in downtown Xenia with her fiancé Austin, two dogs (Lucy and Birdie), and seven chickens.
