On Tuesday, May 7 from 4:30-7:00 p.m., we are hosting a welcome event for all families with new students -- or even current families who want to know more about the district, get involved with their building PTO, and more!
At this event, families are invited to:
- Meet some of our elementary building principals and elementary teachers.
- Connect with the PTO in your student's new elementary building.
- Play games and earn tickets for food and prizes.
- Talk to one of our school nurses or the nurse practitioner from the school-based health center to learn about school physicals and other health services for the start of the year.
- Discover more about what Kindergarten students can expect in the classroom, and what you can do to help them prepare for a great start to their school career!
The event will be held at our Central Office/McKinley Elementary (829 Colorado Drive, Xenia).
If your student is enrolling in Kindergarten...
Once your enrollment is complete, you will be able to pick up your child's "Home of a Future Buccaneer/Class of 2037" yard sign! For enrolled Kindergarten students, yard signs will be available at the event on May 7, then after that at during regular business hours.
